Guess John Elway was looking for something to do during the NFL lockout.
The 2014 PGA Tour BMW Championship is moving from the Chicago area to Denver's Cherry Hills Country Club. John Elway, President of the Cherry Hills Country Club, former Broncos quarterback, and current team Executive Vice president of Football Operations ditched his Broncos orange and blue for a red blazer to make the announcement yesterday.
The BMW Championship is part of the four-event FedEx Cup and will be held from September 4 to 7, 2014. The Cherry Hills Country Club also hosts the USGA's 2012 U.S.Amateur Championship.
