The Park Hill neighborhood, encompassing South Park Hill, North Park Hill, and Northeast Park Hill, is bordered by Colorado Boulevard on the west, East Colfax Avenue on the south, Quebec Street on the east, and East 52nd Avenue on the north. Originally platted in the late 1800s, the first homes in Park Hill were offered for sale in 1900.

Almost exclusively residential, a wide variety of housing styles characterize the area, from bungalows and Denver Squares to post-World War II Cape Cods as the neighborhood expanded north and east from downtown. Tree-lined streets form a grid connecting to wider “shaded parkways” including Montview Boulevard and Monaco Street. Park Hill's sense of neighborhood is shepherded by the Greater Park Hill Community, Inc., founded over 50 years ago as the Park Hill Action Committee to promote an ethnically diverse and integrated neighborhood. Today, Park Hill's nationally recognized neighborhood organization sponsors an annual historic home tour and garden tour, while continuing to bring together the residents of this historic neighborhood.
